Home phone Fail

I recently cancelled our home phone service. I wanted to save money, and I figured that I never use it anyway. The only people that use it to call us are politicians (ugh) and solicitors (even though we are on the Do Not Call list) So we have been without it for almost a week and today I remembered the other reason we have a home phone- to call my cell phone when I lose it (which is often!) When I was getting ready to leave the house I silently (and not so silently) cursed myself for not remembering where I put it. Luckily I eventually found it, but I am going to have to keep it in one place when I am not using it because otherwise I might go crazy.
